elbkind conceived a digital extension for the “Health is everything” campaign of the health insurance company Techniker Krankenkasse. Just like the main campaign, it also transmits the core message of recognising your own health as your most valuable commodity and protecting it accordingly.
Individual and emotive: Your Body Facts
On the platform http://bodyfacts.tk.de/, the user can use Body Facts to see at a glance what their healthy body has done so far. On the basis of their individual input, the users can generate their own personal Body Facts. Each fact gets its own visual presentation and a demonstrative comparative value. The animations are revealed on the page by scrolling. The users are thus provided with one page on which they can scroll through all their body’s successes. Full-page images make the references clear and increase emotionality. As well as seeing the performance of their own body, users are also encouraged to treat their health more carefully.
With the help of the share functions, the participants can share the full result or individual graphics with friends via Facebook, Google+ and Twitter. Several thousand users shared their bodies’ performance on the social media platforms and thus spread the message of the Techniker Krankenkasse. In addition, the microsite is regularly involved at an editorial level. The communication focus is on the Techniker Krankenkasse social media channels. Traffic is generated for the microsite through targeted social media advertising.
