Twitter real-time campaign for UEFA EURO 2016

Whether they are kicking every ball while watching at home, cheering along in a fan park or making their opinions clear on the Web – when it comes to football, the fans are just as committed as the players. Reason enough for the TK to really get involved on the social Web during the 2016 football European Championship.

Using the hashtag #in90minuten, real-time content, quiz questions and health facts were posted before, during and after 13 selected matches. The day after the matches that were accompanied live, the fans became the experts: they had the chance to put their knowledge to the test in 90 minutes and win European Championship packages and a surfing camp in the host country.

In total, we posted 229 tweets and 86 Facebook posts, which were viewed almost eight million times and generated over 420,000 interactions. The blog post accompanying the first real-time campaign from the TK went straight into the top ten of all posts.
