We are pleased that you are interested in us and would like to apply or have applied for a position in our company. In the following, we would like to provide you with information on the processing of your personal data in connection with the application, which is in addition to our general data protection declaration, which also applies to this purpose, whereby these references take precedence over the general data protection declaration in case of doubt.

II. How should I send my data?
If you would like to send us your documents by post, please note that the documents will be forwarded to our HR department in confidence.
If you send us the necessary documents and information by e-mail, we point out that the e-mail is sent via the unsecured Internet and may be viewed or changed by unauthorized third parties. In your own interest, therefore, any information should not be included as plain text in the e-mail, but in a .pdf attachment, whereby the pdf file should be protected with a password to open. Please send this password of your choice to the same e-mail address to which you sent your application e-mail in order to open your application documents.
III. Which of your data are processed by us for which purposes?
We process the data you have sent us in connection with your application in order to check your suitability for the position (or any other open positions in our company) and to carry out the application procedure. These are usually the cover letter, a curriculum vitae as well as certificates and if necessary further voluntarily communicated information.
IV. What is the legal basis for this?
The legal basis for processing your personal data in this application procedure is primarily § 26 BDSG in the version valid since 25.05.2018 and Art. 6 Para. 1 lit.b DSGVO. It allows the processing of data required in connection with the decision to establish an employment relationship. By sending us your documents, you therefore agree to the processing of your data in the manner and to the extent set out in these data protection instructions for the purposes of the application procedure.
If you have voluntarily provided us with special categories of personal data within the meaning of Art. 9 para. 1 DSGVO during the application procedure, they will also be processed in accordance with Art. 9 para. 2 lit. b DSGVO (e.g. health data, e.g. severe disability or ethnic origin). If we ask you within the scope of the application procedure for special categories of personal data within the meaning of Art. 9 para. 1 DSGVO, they will also be processed in accordance with Art. 9 para. 2 lit. a DSGVO (e.g. health data, if these are required for the exercise of the profession).
Should the data be necessary for legal prosecution after completion of the application procedure, data may be processed on the basis of the requirements of Art. 6 DSGVO, in particular to safeguard legitimate interests pursuant to Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f DSGVO. We are then interested in asserting or defending claims.
V. How long is the data stored?
Data of applicants will be deleted after 6 months, subject to a justified revocation by the person concerned.
In the event that you have agreed to further storage of your personal data, we will add your data to our applicant pool. There the data will be deleted after two years.
If you have won a job during the application process, the data from the applicant data system will be transferred to our personnel information system.
VI. To which recipients will the data be passed on?
We use a specialized software provider for the application process. They will act as a service provider for us and may also gain knowledge of your personal data in connection with the maintenance and care of the systems. We have concluded a so-called order processing contract with this provider, which ensures that data processing is carried out in a permissible manner.
Your application data will be reviewed by the HR department after receipt of your application. Suitable applications are then forwarded internally to the department heads for the respective open position. Then the ensuing procedure is coordinated. In the company, only those persons have access to your data who need them for the proper course of our application procedure.
VII. Where are the data processed?
The data are processed exclusively in data centers of the Federal Republic of Germany.
VIII. Your rights as “persons concerned”
You have the right to information about the personal data processed by us concerning your person. In the case of a request for information that is not made in writing, we ask for your understanding that we may then require proof from you that you are the person you claim to be.
Furthermore, you have a right to correction or deletion or to restriction of the processing, insofar as you are legally entitled to do so.
Furthermore, you have a right of objection against the processing within the framework of legal requirements. The same applies to a right to data transferability.
